A physical education teacher in Tampa, Florida was arrested and taken into custody after a drug bust revealed her involvement in the trafficking of oxycodone.

Joye Jones, 40, worked as a PE teacher at two different elementary schools at the time of her arrest. After an investigation that spanned two months, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jones along with her supplier, 25-year-old Johnny Urrutia.

Jones is charged with two counts of trafficking oxycodone, possession of a controlled substance, sale/delivery of oxycodone, and conspiracy to traffic in oxycodone.
